Professional Experience
Jarah has been in private practice in the Clarion area since 2008. Prior to that, Jarah worked as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable James G. Arner, President Judge of the Clarion County Court of Common Pleas, and then as an Assistant District Attorney in Clarion County. She was elected to serve as a Magisterial District Judge in 2019.
She lives with her husband and son in Shippenville.
Education
Jarah attended Clarion University of Pennsylvania where she graduated magna cum laude in December of 2003 and received a Bachelors of Science degree in Communication with a Minor in Political Science. Jarah then attended Duquesne University School of Law. During law school, she participated in the Economic and Community Development Clinic as a student attorney and completed a judicial internship in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania with the Honorable David S. Cercone. She graduated cum laude in June of 2007 and was licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania later that year. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and the United States District Court.
Rebekah Yeager-Malkin, Associate Attorney, Pending Licensure
Professional Experience:
Rebekah began her professional career in non-profit doing fundraising, event planning, and community engagement for various organizations, including the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (NMSS) in Greensboro, NC, and Temple Sinai in Pittsburgh, PA. During her time in law school, she worked for the University of Pittsburgh School of Law Sikov Elder Law Clinic, guiding clients through the estate planning and guardianship processes. The law school faculty and staff nominated her for the Distinguished Public Interest Scholar award for her work with the clinic. Rebekah also served as Deputy Executive Editor of JURIST, the only international law student-led legal news organization, working with law students worldwide to create a one-of-a-kind news source.
She lives with her husband and three cats in Clarion.
Education:
Rebekah attended William Peace University in Raleigh, NC, graduating magna cum laude in 2016 with a Bachelors in Communications with a Concentration in Public Relations and a Minor in History. She received the Outstanding Communications Graduate and Dean’s List awards and was a member of both the English and Undergraduate Honor Societies.
Rebekah went on to graduate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2024, receiving the Blue and Gold Dean’s Scholarship, the Sylvan B. Libson Scholarship, the A.Z. & Fannie A. Pittler Memorial Scholarship, and the Lawrence Frank Fund Scholarship. She also received both Public Service Leadership Recognition for her outstanding volunteer and pro-bono contributions and the Anthony L. Sutin Prize for her exceptional commitment to the public service mission of JURIST News.
During her time in law school, Rebekah competed in the University of Pittsburgh School of Law Moot Court Appellate Competition and the Ronald D. Ecker Memorial Negotiation and Client Counseling Competition. Rebekah also spent her law school career volunteering with JURIST, the Sikov Elder Law Clinic, the National Lawyers Guild, and the Incarcerated Persons Legal Support Project (IPLSP).
Becca Ehrhart, Paralegal
Becca Ehrhart is a paralegal and notary currently employed at Heeter & Associates, P.C. She graduated from Clarion-Limestone High School in 2014. Following high school graduation she attended Clarion University gaining an Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies and graduated summa cum laude in 2016.
During her spring semester of 2016 she interned for Pope, Drayer, French & Heeter, P.C. where she also started full time employment in November of that year.
Connie L. Slagle, Legal Assistant
Connie has worked as a legal assistant for Attorneys Milo M. Markle, Jr., Ray H. Scott, and Sara J. Seidle-Patton, prior to joining Heeter & Associates P.C.
Her primary focus has been real estate, estate administration, and estate planning including wills and powers of attorney, although she has worked in various areas of civil practice as well.
She is a graduate of Clarion University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor degree in Finance. A lifelong resident of Clarion County, she and her husband, Tim, reside in Limestone and are the parents of one son, Tim Jr. who lives in Canonsburg with his wife, Eberley.
